Revolving Fund Opens New Economic Opportunities for Women in Trans Nzoia

Through the partnership between WWANC and Women’s Earth Alliance , grassroots women across Kenya are gaining access to resources, skills, and opportunities that are transforming livelihoods while building climate resilience.

In Trans Nzoia County, members of the Birunda CHP Group are utilizing the Revolving Fund to invest in sustainable income-generating activities, including poultry keeping, kitchen gardening, and tree nursery establishment. These enterprises are boosting household incomes, enhancing food security, and contributing to environmental conservation.

By investing in women-led enterprises, this partnership is creating sustainable income streams, strengthening local economies, and empowering women to become agents of change in their communities and beyond.
